Brisbane duo Sadie & Jay perform exquisitely crafted original songs with origins in the Anglo-Celtic tradition travelling through contemporary Australian folk and roots. Born in Scotland and raised in New Zealand, Jay grew up in a musical family immersed in traditional British folk music. With Welsh heritage, Sadie's love for singing is instinctive. Together they play beautiful songs with exceptional vocals, glorious harmonies, intricate finger style guitar, bouzouki and double bass.Sadie & Jay's albums, "Curious" and "Rogue Folk" feature a host of prominent artists well known in Australian folk and Celtic circles. The songs are rich in musical depth and meaning with tales of history, endeavor, love and light-hearted comedy. With two successful tours of the UK and a recent tour of New Zealand, Sadie & Jay's music is receiving international acclaim. Their third album is soon to be released including a collaborative project with R&R studio's in Glasgow.
